Denny Dimes—Dennis Grosel passed for a school record (tied with the Great Flutie) 520 yards. Backup QB who started 7 games last season as a backup. Guy is a flat-out baller. Eagles rushed for a net -7 yards. Had 36 yards of positive yardage with a long of 7. Proved to be the difference. Cavaliers had 262 on the ground. 287 through the air with a bad passer. I may have a retrospective on the Eagles season on a future Daily Sportlander. Working on getting those up more consistently. Been busy.

Good game. I like both coaches. Sad that ASU has only played 2 games. Quentin Lake #37 for UCLA, son of Carnell Lake #37 for Steelers, Jaguars, Baltimore (#31 for UCLA in the 1980s—85-88). I recall being a big fan of his. Loved the Steelers secondary in general back then.
