The belief that sin and continuous failure to follow the commands of God as a Christian is very destructive. Sayings such as 'we sin everyday' neglect the fact that the bible states that those who partake in habitual sin don't even belong to God (1 John 3:5-8). You can separate from sin and live in victory over it; Christ has empowered you to live a holy life free from sin's bondage!
