To excel at something is to go over and above the normal.
It means doing more than what is expected.
Its about taking the extra step, the extra time, the extra effort in what ever you do.
Yes, it's hard work, but in the end, if you persevere, it will pay off.
Taking some extra time with your wife, or your husband, and children will result in closer, stronger relationships with them.
Going the extra mile on the job will gain appreciation from your boss and co workers.
Giving that extra effort as you serve in your church or help someone in need will bring blessings to others.
Without question, it pays to give your very best.
Why don’t you ask the Lord to strengthen your resolve to strive for excellence in all that you do?
Ask Him today to show you where you have been cutting corners.
Ask Him to empower you through His Word and Spirit to go beyond what is expected so you can demonstrate His amazing love.

I really want to encourage you to be diligent with your Bible study time, because God has so much more for us than we can get from just going to church once or twice a week and hearing someone else talk about the Word.
When you spend time with God, your life will change in amazing ways, because God is a Redeemer.
Theres nothing thats too hard for Him, and He can make you whole, spirit, soul and body!
