Hobe Sound is an exurban area located near West Palm Beach in Florida. People are drawn to the area by its pristine beaches and unspoiled parks. In 2016, however, residents of the quaint area would come together to search for a missing woman. The woman had kept a detailed journal, and this journal would bring to the forefront of the investigation some very suspicious characters, including a violence-prone ex-husband, a potential new boyfriend, and an obsessive ventriloquist.
