You can then have your final list and ask people for a live interview where you can find out more about them and their aspirations.
- If you are still unsure after the live interviews, you can offer candidates a paid task, to see who is best at the job you are actually hiring for, to check they can do more than just follow instructions and if they will be a great fit for your company before all the investment of time and money for onboarding them into the company.
- Onboarding is just as important in small companies as big ones but often isn’t prioritised. If you can show you are professional and a great company to work for you will have more invested employees who produce great work for you.
- The work does not stop here. Ensure you have a structured way of keeping in touch, managing and coaching your new employee so you can make them feel valued as well as ensure they are developing and producing high-quality work for you.
