In the late 1960s, a large number of acts of vandalism perpetrated in English churchyards were thought to be linked to a resurgent interest in black magic.  In Highgate Cemetery in North London especially, the evidence was becoming increasingly difficult to deny.  Something dark and sinister, it seemed, was brewing...
