Episode #150:

All month long I am celebrating Mental Health Month and today, May 9, 2023 is a 10 year milestone. 10 years ago on this day I woke up( by God’s grace) from a 3 day coma. What brought it on was a suicide attempt. I tried to overdose with medication. I was in a 9 month struggle of intense suicidal thinking. It was the worst time of my life. 10 years later I have a lot to be grateful for. Today’s episode I speak with my older sister, Alyssa Ahern. I ask her what she felt on that day and what was she thinking? We also get into some of her story and what skills and lessons she has learned over the years to stay stable. I so loved this episode! It has been a really special day talking to my mom and sister.
