When we are used to following it's hard to be consistently aware. Mindfulness helps us gathering consciousness around what has trapped us into unawareness. When we can 'step back' we can open to greater awareness. How can we move beyond the beliefs we've become stuck in?Politically we tend to polarize and loose awareness. We are lucky to be able to look back as well as looking forward. How do we change ourselves so that we are mindful, not only of ourselves, but also of the planet and others? When we are aware we can change and find ways to heal the planet. Children are more aware than we think...if the aren't numbed down in school or through other things that happen to them. Today ask "Am I conscious of my reactions, how am I affecting to the environment, others and myself?".
Being aware without judging ourselves or others can change everything.
