Please welcome PREMIERE guest Marsha Vanwynsberghe. Healing through stories and NLP is a powerful concept that can have a profound impact on one's life. This is something that Marsha Vanwynsberghe, a storytelling NLP trainer, speaker, publisher, author, and two time podcaster experienced firsthand. Marsha is a six time best selling author of When She Stopped Asking Why.
Marsha explains that storytelling can be a powerful tool to connect us to one another. We are all connected by our experiences, emotions, and challenges. We often hide our stories, out of fear of judgement, but these stories are what ultimately connect us to one another.
NLP, or Neuro-Linguistic Programming, is a set of tools and techniques that can help us to heal and change our limiting beliefs. It can help us to understand how our thoughts impact our lives. Marsha found that this was the missing piece in her own journey of healing and growth.
Marsha has experienced her own struggles, including being a parent who dealt with teen substance abuse and mental health challenges. She found that it was through sharing her own story that she was able to understand the power of shame and what it was doing to her. She was blown away by how many people could relate to her story.
Marsha believes that stories can be an incredibly powerful tool for healing and growth. She encourages others to take the time to heal and work through their own stories. Through her work, she helps people to learn how to tell their stories, be able to speak, write the book, and share the story. She also helps them to understand what their story means and how to heal through it.
