I share Alex's concern on overstating the weight of nodes' influence on consensus but I don't know of any better way for individual users to have a say in consensus besides running their own node. It seems like as adoption increases user's wallet choice is going to be a bigger deal since they will be relying on the node that the wallet is using. Great episode and really appreciate Alex's insights.
