A San Francisco city commission in charge of overseeing the response to the drug and mental health crisis hasn't held a single meeting since February. The Behavioral Health Commission is part of the city's Department of Public Health and has an annual budget of almost $600 million. KCBS Radio's Patti Reising and Bret Burkhart spoke with KCBS insider Phil Matier on why with all that's going on in the city, how a commission like this can be so inactive.
