Hi, my name is Dr. Liz, ND.: An adventurous woman who broke free from conventional paradigms to in order to liberate a new era in health.
Her tenacity keeps her grounded. Dr. Liz, ND moved to a small town in the Canadian Arctic and pivoted her entire practice virtually, all while raising her child as a single mom. Sounds perfect, eh? Well perfect is the ONLY “comfortable” option for a high-functioning perfectionist. I grew up pretending that everything was FINE, and accomplishments could cover up the fact I was miserable and constantly blowing up my life. I was hiding my family's dysfunction; chronic illness, drug addictions, and physical, mental, and psychological abuse. That fosters A LOT of rage and resentment, all of which was swept under the rug.I became the queen of masking. I sought out elite achievements to cover up the fact I felt unworthy, unlovable, and not enough. I felt trapped, by the “perfect” life I was creating. I acted the way I thought I should act in every single situation that arose. It was exhausting!!!! I ended up blowing up my perfect plan for my perfect life. Oh! And daily anxiety attacks. I ended up living my adult life ass-backward. I became pregnant within the first few months of meeting my now husband, had a baby, then got married to an RCMP officer. I also married into a male-oriented culture, where I was expected to be a baby-making machine while a stay-at-home mom, with a hobby, not a career. Everything I knew how to do wasn’t working for my life. No matter how hard I tried. I needed new tools and an entire new worldview. I asked the universe for answers. Unknowingly, I was just sent on a journey of a lifetime. I was led to Dr. Kim Redman, Mystic and Master Trainer of NLP and Hypnosis. She mentors me and has empowered me on my journey, so I can do the same for others. I discovered one of my superpowers is weaving the best of both worlds together. Following my heart I found my home in Integrative Quantum medicine, where science and spirituality align. I blended my Doctorate in Naturopathy with my expertise with multiple healing modalities into my training. Now the Founder of the Bolen Health Institute, an International Institute, I designate healers in four different professional designations allowing for rapid personal growth and transformation. Dr. Toni Reid:
Dr. Toni Reid is a licensed naturopathic doctor, integrative quantum health practitioner, HypnoBirthing childbirth educator and co-host of the Perimenopausal Mamas Podcast.
Dr. Toni is committed to guiding busy working moms to take control of their health by supporting the healing power within so they can achieve and experience more vitality, health and happiness at all stages of life.
She is especially passionate about empowering and supporting women who are pregnant or planning their families with pre-conception, prenatal and postnatal care.
Dr. Toni’s passion for all things related to health and healing began early when she experienced regular digestive upset and severe migraines growing up. She found conventional medicine ineffective, with more questions than answers, while she experienced significant relief with a naturopathic approach of botanical medicine and nutritional changes.
This led her to study naturopathic medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto after receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry from the University of Lethbridge.
Dr. Toni’s journey to becoming a mother resulted in her taking a more comprehensive mind-body approach to fertility and pregnancy, in order to fully address emotional stress and intergenerational trauma. She has since furthered her naturopathic training with powerful quantum healing tools, including hypnotherapy and Neuro Linguistic Programming, and is excited to support other women to harness the power of their mind to achieve optimal health and live a life they love.
