While the beer isn’t as good as it is in New England, there were some bright spots in the craft scene in the STL area. Shortleaf Brewing Company (formerly Petrichor) was on the list of spots, and a 11.1% Imperial Samoa Stout took the cake for best beer on draft at the small micropub in the Winghaven neighborhood of O’Fallon. BUSINESS Air New Zealand will have bragging rights to the longest commercial flight in the world later this year when they launch a 17-hour haul from Auckland to New York City.  To keep travelers from going stir-crazy they’ve come out with a model that would allow their passengers to rent bunk beds during their flights. The catch? Not only does it come at an additional cost to your regular seat, but you get kicked out after only 4 hours!
