So let’s go ahead and get started with the first song on our list. I will be listing these 25 great new songs chronologically so released on January 1, 2021, is “Anyone” by Justin Bieber. Now, if you watch the video it seems like a boxing video but the song is a great love song for your wedding day reception. Just Bieber is coming out with some great stuff since he got together with Hailey and this song really signifies their love for each other. Also released on January 1st is a Nashville-based duo, Calamity Jane, and their song “The Most”. It is a great Country song that you can have as a first dance song or anytime during the reception. You can even go check out the video on YouTube as it has a wedding theme. Just for Folk fans, next up is Langhorne Slim's “Colors”, released on January 6th. It is a love song for not only Folk lovers but for Country fans as well. Jax released her song “Ring Pop” on January 6th. This is a Pop love song ( pun intended) that describes true love even though they do not have much money.
Just for Rock fans, released on January 7th, is Kings Of Leon with their song “100,000 People”. If you are looking for a Rock theme for your background music during cocktails or dinner, this would fit the bill. Next up is a collaboration by Nao (originally from London) and Adekunle Gold with their song “Antidote”, released on January 7th. It is a mid-tempo R&B song that would really set the mood for love and happiness. I really love this song so make sure you check it out. Next up is a cover song that was a very popular song by David Bowie called “Heros” but his cover is by Haley Reinhart, released on January 8th. This song features her unbelievable voice and would create a perfect parent-dance song during the reception. Unfortunately, of the 4 Bee Gees, there is only one that is still alive and that is Barry Gibb. He has reproduced a lot of his songs on a new album called Greenfields: The Gibb Brothers’ Songbook (Vol 1). The next song on the list, released on January 8th is “How Deep Is Your Love”. It was a very popular song that hit number 1 on the Billboard charts back in 1977. It was even featured in the movie Saturday Night Fever. Barry Gibb collaborates with Little Big Town and Tommy Emmanuel on this version. This would make for a great love song during your reception that would fill the dance floor for those 70s fans.
Also released on January 8th is a new rendition of an old song. Echosmith released this next song first in 2013 on their album Talking Dreams. This is a new song featuring Matt Kearney called “Tell Her You Love Her”. It makes for a love song for receptions with lyrics like “she’ll tell you all her hopes and dreams, you will tell them too.
