ABOUT THIS SHOW: We ask the question, What do you miss about the good ole days? Are there better days ahead? The Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous states, “But we must be careful not to drift into worry, remorse or morbid reflection…”(BB pg 86).
As men and women in recovery, do we wish for the good ole days in this manner? Can we reflect on those days gone by with a smile or even a bit of laughter or are we doomed to let the past beat us down? Some of us are extremely nostalgic, allowing the good memories of the past to haunt us as much as the unpleasant ones. Can we learn from the “Good Ole Days” and move forward with positive anticipation?
