In this episode 1050 Bascom, we are happy to welcome back Gavin Luter, Managing Director of UniverCity Alliance at UW-Madison. UniverCity Alliance connects education, service and research activities across UW-Madison with cities and counties across Wisconsin. We asked Gavin about his work and interests in urban affairs at UnivCity Alliance as well as a course he teaches called “Welcome to Your Urban Future.” We also asked Gavin how students might get involved in on-the ground research and policy change at the local level, particularly as it relates to city planning and bettering our urban areas.
