On this episode of 1050 Bascom, we are honored to welcome Sam Cornale to the podcast. Sam is a Madison native and a graduate of La Follette High School and UW-Madison with a major in Political Science. He now works in DC, but continues to give back to his Badger roots by teaching a class for the UW ‘Wisconsin in Washington’ program. A veteran of the Obama campaign and administration, Sam is currently the Executive Director of the Democratic National Committee. We talked to Sam about his work on the presidential campaign trail and what that entails. We also asked him about his own predictions and opinions of Biden’s re-election campaign, who will lead the Republican Party, and what we should look out for as we head into the 2024 election cycle.
