Southern Tennis Hall of Fame inductee Lenny Simpson leads the award-winning One Love Tennis in Wilmington, NC. Lenny tells the story of him being motivated by the great Althea Gibson who taught him tennis on a tennis court that is now the home of his NJTL association. Jimmie Coins was elected the first Black president of USTA Mississippi. He traces his experience working in the grassroots of the state’s capitol, Jackson, and aims to improve relationships with the Black community. We highlight junior Ethan Bailey, of Columbia, SC, and Male Player of the Year Danny Carlson, of Mableton, GA.
