While the ballots are in voter's hands and hundreds of thousands of Californians are already sending them back, we're talking of course about the recall election of Governor Gavin Newsom, which is technically September 14th, but in reality it's already underway. That's because every registered voter is receiving a ballot in the mail to make it easier to vote during the coronavirus pandemic, just as in last year's presidential election.
What's also underway is fierce fundraising by the candidates and they're are at a spending war to woo those voters in the remaining weeks of this campaign. Well, whose giving to whom and where's all this money coming from?
