Jesus’ experience with His disciples at Caesarea Philippi marked a distinct turning point in His ministry.
He was obviously pleased with Peter’s confession of faith in Him as the Christ, the Son of the living God in Matthew 16:16, and looked forward to the continued, triumphant growth of His church.
