As we continue the Planted series – this overview of the Christian faith – by looking at Jesus as a Teacher. In Mark 1 we are told that “The people were astonished at Jesus’ teaching.”  It goes on to note that part of the reason is that they had not heard the things he was saying before, part of the reason was because, “he taught them as one having authority.” In other words, he was not like the other rabbis.  What did Jesus teach?
