Now, Henry Ford might be remembered for revolutionizing the auto industry, but this quote reminds us he also knew a thing or two about how the human mind works. If you wake up thinking, “I can’t do this,” then congratulations — you’ve already fulfilled the prophecy. But if you choose to think, “I’ve got this,” you’re giving yourself permission to grow, to try, and maybe even succeed. Either way, your thoughts are running the show.

You don’t need to slap a motivational poster over every bad moment, but even the smallest shift — from “I hate this” to “This is tough, but I can handle it” — can change the way your day unfolds.
