Law Enforcement Today: Crime and Trauma Stories

Do Police Officers Do This Daily?  Police Officer Arrested, Convicted And Fired. Was It Politically Motivated? An extremely violent domestic violence case in Torrington, Ct. changed the laws and how all Law Enforcement Agencies across the Country approach, and handle domestic violence calls. Jeffrey Jaeger is our guest. He was a police officer in Charlottesville Virginia and was dispatched to a call for a domestic violence case in their city. He saw what he perceived to be threatening behavior by one of the domestic violence suspects. He took the person into custody, removed him from the scene with a minimal amount of force. His actions were found to be justified by the agency. He was later charged with assault, tried, convicted and fired. Was it all motivated by politics and driven by media optics?
