Spiritual bypassing is a tendency to use spiritual ideas and practices to sidestep or avoid facing unresolved emotional issues, psychological wounds and unfinished developmental tasks. We discuss the signs + types of spiritual bypassing and the ways to protect yourself from spiritual bypassing. It’s important to remind ourselves that we are whole, complex human beings having a nuanced experience. Our existence isn’t limited to “good vibes only.” Some days we exist in the contrast, other days we’re optimistic- both are welcome along our journey of growth and evolution.
