Today I’m talking with Brandon Voss, Co-Founder of Black Swan Group with Chris Voss, his dad and author of Never Split the Difference. Brandon talks about how, as a kid, he noticed the difference in how his dad handled situations compared to others. And, that his dad was able to turn any negative situation into an opportunity. He was intrigued from an early age and applied what he learned from watching his dad to all encounters. As a kid, he was always negotiating his way out of trouble, from things like not wearing his uniform to school and somehow getting away with it with the graces and good wishes of his principal. Well now, he coaches real estate agents, business owners and executives in negotiating multimillion to multi-hundred million dollar deals. Today we talk about how to harness negativity in any difficult circumstance.
