What’s something that you cannot go without or has some kind of control over you? Is it eating sweets or a particular type of food, what about being on social media all day or watching tv, maybe drinking alcohol or doing drugs? Commit to going a day or two or a week from that thing that has a hold on you. 


I fast for personal and spiritual reasons cutting out certain foods, alcohol, sex, social media, tv, radio, and the internet. My experience with fasting is that I get more discipline, gaining more control back over my flesh, and spiritually in tune. When you fast you actually fast forward in life.
