Syd is a great kid, and sometimes I forget to parent her properly. She not doing well in school all of a sudden and we talked about it. Not my proudest moment as a parent. I chose the wrong time and place, and didn't choose my words very carefully...I wish I had a "do over" button for talks (read, lectures )like these.
